Default My first engine build so bare with me!!!

This is my first engine build so any help or advice will be greatfully appreciated...

some of the pics are a bit pooh sorry

Here when i first got the engine



started to strip it down.



Thats how it stayed for 2days as didnt get time to play.


finished stripping this at college on a monday night

here are some of the parts i have up to know..

Gt25 fr4om a focus turbo




There from a focus rs also..

But getting rid of the boost one for a water temp
Getting this instead of the boost one

Also paint the block blue instead of black..



Parts i have just ordered.. should be here tomorrow













plus rod bolts

Will hopefully starting build in next week or two

are u using new pistons..?? gonna have to lower the c/r if yer gonna be turboin it...

yeah i have a set of focus rs ones for that did have calibra turbo one but decided against it...

hi mate what college course you doing? i was thinking of doing something like this cos im doing motorsport course and will be good practice for me. only thing is once ive built it whatever car it goes into im not gunna get insured because of only being 16 going on 17?

I'm doing a night course in vehicle body and repair..i work full time at alloy wheel refurbish business...(not mine)

Crank in place and fitted


Focus rs pistons and rods fitted with arp bolts.








DHL broke my cam cover on the way down to FMS(Field Motorsport) so had to get a new one.What do you think of the colour change??

as it is at the minute.


Hopefully getting the clutch andd flywheel soon gearbox is in the garage awaiting the quaife diff going in..
What injectors do i need for 300bhp???

Have you had the block honed? im guessing you have fitted new rings with the pistons?. Just noticed that in the pics that the bores looked i bit shiny.
