Interior looks really good mate, can't beat 90 spec Recaro seats. Got full 90 spec in my mk4, I find them really comfy.

Cheers... Wasn't around it for long over the day so didn't really get to chat to many people...

Brakes look nice... Look tight.

I nearly give up going on the Saturday... Stuck with it and got there in the end...
I've bought another new bonnet release cable as the Jek manifold melted mine and high spotted the bonnet Bonnet kept popping when flooring it... I'll move the Jek on
Standard Focus RS exhaust manifold is going back on for Gold Cup and we're gonna tap the high spot down No broken paint so shouldn't be a problem
Hopefully enjoy the weekend then pull the bumper off, intercooler and rad out ready to go for a custom exhaust manifold
Once it's back we'll check the map again and then the engine and box are coming out...
Finally think it's time to get the Focus RS box in...
Ive been talked into a new ecu, so a new engine loom will be made.
Will give us the option to fit traction control which could work nicely

Next year I may go hybrid and bigger injectors then...

Last weekend I took the Jek manifold off, and replaced it with the standard Focus RS manifold again ( 4th time I've had the exhaust manifold off within the last couple of months...!
I've straightened the bonnet latch mechanism as there not available new anymore, our local Ford dealer did manage to source a new bonnet cable. So that's on and now the bonnet once again opens and closes as and when it should.
Friday a guy I work with come and tapped the high spot down on my bonnet... He's much more experienced in PDR than I am thank god... Bonnet all sorted again.
So on Saturday we popped along to Oulton Park GoldCup. The Orion drove like poo due to no test drive with the latest map on the old manifold Was over fuelling terribly on part throttle.

Anyway, made it there and back safely... that's the last show of 2016 for the Orion
In a few weeks it's off for its custom exhaust manifold... Will get the map checked once its back...

Hi mate, where did you get the bushes from? I think I need to replace mine, I get a slight knock now and again when rocking the steering left/right as though something has a very small amount of play in it

It's taken forever to get back on the Orion since getting it back from Crazycage...
Today after many weeks of tweaking the manifold and turbo are back in place and it runs again!

Need to mod the down pipe support bar next as that don't line up anymore, only case of redrilling a couple of holes to the right abit, then refit radiator, fans, intercooler, bumper... 8)

Finally back together and ready for taxing in April
Plan another map and boost increase mid April

Swapped the oil return hose for a proper oil ASH
And fitted another bottom boost hose
Bumper back on and washed quickly

Seems ok, it's on its 2nd since being built... hence the latest one being wrapped in heat protective material
It does it's job and if it kills this one I'll go transit connect starter next while I'm still on this gearbox

I'm still on the hunt for alittle more of the light grey material for my retrimmed front seats...
But the ones I swapped for out of my old Orion are pretty mint so I've got time on my side
Cheers for the comments

Are these the LED H4 bulbs that you can get?

I fly eyed my head lights and bought eBay special led headlights. White as white can be colour wise but fuck me I couldn't see shit. Said to my self I was taking the fly eye off, mot time a headlight bulb went, threw in a spare bulb I had, so one yellow head light one white. Pissed me off as I changed everything over to LED. Bit the bullet and got Osram bulbs and fuck me what a difference on the road!
?about £25 a pair compared to halfrauds £40 or so for one!)

A bit yellow
colour wise but Christ what a difference, so good I left the fly eye tint on.

Any 4K 5k etc is more to do with colour rather than actual light output.
But it's a jeep I have so it's probably turned fresh eBay bulbs shit and unreliable like everything else that's on it

EXACTLY what I was going to say to you....I tried the H4 LED headlight bulbs, and they looked awesome in initial testing in the garage, but once I took it out on the road, I fast realised it was a COMPLETE waste of money! I went from Ring Sportz Blue 100w bulbs to the LED's bulbs and loved the colour output, but the dispersion of light was terrible....they came out the same night and the Ring Sportz Blue's have been in ever since!

I will give the HID's a try but I am worried about blinding other road users...do these give that massive amount of light output or are these much like the H7R bulbs where they are designed for use with non-projector headlights yet seem to have a cut off point at the top to stop wild projection?

Thanks for the link...hoping to order some once you have tested them out on the road!

I'll grab some pics at night once it's taxed and let you know...
Trial on the garage door looks promising though
