My brscc racing fiesta rebuild
Right after alittle bit of arm twisting Porkie thinks i should post up my rebuild pictures. right its a 1.4 class b fiesta championship car, i brought it in 2002 off of Maxi jazz (lead singer from faithless) this is how it looked in 2000 and then when i brought it in 2002, sorry about some of the pic sizes!
So i striped it down and changed the colour
Got bored of that so sprayed it again
then midway through the year i got bored of that colour so thought i'd reshape it!
the next race was 2 weeks later so repanelled it
Got bored of that so changed the front end
Raced in those colours for about 2 races
Then changed the grey to imperial ble
Didnt even get raced like that only did bedford then changed it again
then whilst leading my class i got hit by a div in a slow 1800cc!!! Which span me into 2nd place man in my class (Dan Rose) killing both our cars!!
Didnt look to bad but over the years the shell was past it! So time for a new car, was on a tight budget so used the cage from this car
Brought a 1.3 road car for £200 and stripped that
Welded the cage into it
Spent ages rubbing down the underneath and painting it
Then painted the inside
Then rewired the car
Smoothed the dash off
Sprayed it semi gloss white and imperial ble
Engine in
Rolling at last
Abit of primer
Top coat and tinted the clear rear lights with a red pearl
Getting there
In memory of the old car i've done the stripes the same colours
and how it looks today
