im using 2.9 sierra xr4x4 front suspension mate and i think ive got about 5mm gap between the disc and track rod end,i didnt think i was going to have that much space when i was looking at the different disc dimensions for possible choices but i must have worked it out wrong lol
yer they fit with xr4 hubs ok ,just wish i hadnt powder coated my 4x4 ones then i could run rs discs still working on a combo that will work

Why don't you sell on your 4x4 front powder coated parts and get hold of some xr4x4 front suspension parts, surely it would make the brake options more varied,my brakes are excellent and I'm only running a s2 erst master cylinder and servo,I've got plenty of feel through the pedal and is very easy to judge how much pedal pressure is needed

Not been on here for a few years but a few things happened,I got fed up with a couple things with the car not long after the mag feature,I damaged the passenger side rear corner then a month or 2 later the gearbox started playing up in 4th year, wouldn't select 4th at all which turned out to be a bent selector fork in the end, anyway I stripped the car and sold bits on and sold the rolling shell aswell, regretted it almost straight away but hey ho,
Couple years after selling it I got some money and offered to buy it back from the bloke as he'd put another engine in and converted it to 2wd,he declined but then about 2/3 months later he decided he was selling as needed to do work on his house so i bought it back,it sat on my drive for quite a while and i stripped the engine and box out and sold the 2wd bits to convert it back to 4wd,it sat for about a year without the engine in then I moved house and it sat in my garage for a while longer again
I managed to source all the bits I needed and got the gearbox rebuilt to sort the selector fork out and then made a start putting it all back together that took me another several months,I finally got it back on the road towards the end of last year and then was using it daily up until about mid September when the clutch release bearing went,so it's now staying off the road until I move house again and can work on it in a bigger garage and then I will finally be converting it to skyline gtr gearbox and upgrading a lot of other bits aswell including turbo, inlet, suspension and management and then tidy the bodywork up a bit as it's starting to show it's age a little
