The rear arches arent even chipped and you can see the factory spotwelds interior is all out now aswell and i havent found a spec of rust on the entire car!
Next picture rocks

well little update...
me and my mate totally stripped it out couple of days ago to see whats what, theres a few little patches that need to be welded but nothing major so thats good...
and just rust treated the little bits around the car and had another browse around it to see what its exactly like....
heres how she stands at the moment!
and my fave!
just waiting for the angle grinder to clean up the welds and bodywork and the heat gun to remove all the sound proofing! both will arrive soon so will update soon!

thanks for the comments!
to be honest it is pretty clean but i aint going to lie does need welding in a few places, were not talking mot failing at all but just a few lil plates here and there, but thats why i wanted to strip it all out as i wanted to sort things like that!
and to "project pearl" removing it all so its a smoother finish when i spray the whole inside as its staying stripped out....plus it saves weight!!! does actually weigh a fair bit when its all together, probly fill 2 plastic bags full!! theres loads of it!

well not at home at the moment to post some pics up but ive done abit more work on it today...
got all the sound proofing up yesterday but the glue underneath is terrible!!!
got most of it up (front and rear footwells) just need to do underneath the dash (behind pedals) and bit in the back and above the exhaust in the boot....
will post pics 2moro once ive got it all out...
then its time to get the welding sorted and then a respray the inside!

was thinking about buying some yesterday...
but done the front and rear footwells now, just the back, bit over exhaust in boot and little bit behind the pedals...
comes up pretty good with what im doing but heres what ive got to do to get it how it looks now...
rub white spirits over it
scrape it up
rub white spirits over it
rub it down with abit of sandpaper (course)
then white sprits again
takes the mick!!
but does the job!!
its proberly taken me about 3 hours to get sound proofing up (took the pish before my mate brought his heat gun round and then it come up a treat!
and then its took me about 2 hours to remove the glue left...done the front and rear footwells..
so got the rest of the glue remove (proberly hour for that)
and then once the welding has been done il prep all the inside and spray it...
so the inside will have took me about 8 hours to do!

will be messing the weekend im sure...so another hand would be great.
where you going to see about the welding? (need some on mine dont i so could ask for me aswell unless i can come down n that)
i am going over all the little gaps with a wire brush end on a drill but dont think it would have work that well straight onto the glue...as the white spirits break it down...
