Hi trev, then why is it fair that norris can shorten his wheel base, removing doors in the process, turn his engine around, tub the front end and use skyline transmission parts but Charlie can't modify his front suspension (which I beleive was the issue first time around.
One would argue that you cannt run a wrc escort due to the modified rear turret pick up points but I'd bet my last pound they would allow it..

Also how does The Infinity Focus of Dave Jackson qualify, surely it has no original focus floor pan and turrets, obviously running a yb with seq box etc etc.
Doesnt the AG focus use genuine door/side panel appetures and a gen ford tranny tunnel, regarding the kit which is a gen m-sport carbon jobbie, i bet 95% in TA run carbon/fiberglass panels also.

Guys sadly this has always been the case with this car for some reason they dont want it there & i know they go on about rules but they are for one & not another ! if my memeory serves from about page 5 on this thread its been a issue in 2007

Its not a fucking space frame. An rs200 is a space frame where you can lift off the front and rear. It is a home built shell
It is completely OEM as it has never been altered since the manufacturer built it. No where in the regulations does it state the car has to be built by a leading car manufacturer.......
It is an AG MotoRSport focus..... Not ford
At least all my body panels are homologated by the FIA which is more that can be said about all the bodykits in TA

I have finally worked it all out.........
My car does what it says on the tin.......
800 horse no bullshit turns up and kicks ass.
All the bullshit tuners claiming 900 1000 horse couldn't possible let me run as it would show them up for being full of shit.
Andrew built the shell woopy do, surly ford or mitsubishi or Ollie Clark with big money backing have built a better one, the focus weighs in at 1170kg so whats the big deal.
Surly the spirit of time attack isnt to get touring car drivers into drive your car, hows that fair. its all fucked up from end to end.

The pics on the general discussion say it all..
The ag focus is a space frame through and through!!
There is many modified chassis if you include the likes of wrc rear tubs etc but the difference between a space frame car and a modified saloon is night and day full stop..
For example the rsr mk 1 escort is a full space frame car with 400 hp and can do brands indy in 48 secs lap after lap..
the fastest escort cosworths are at leat 2 secs a lap slower with 200 hp more!
A normal mk1 mk2 escort chassis car with a 400 hp is no where near the 48 secs and more like late 50s.
The rules state no space frame and thats exactly what the ag focus is!! its built on a space frame..
As said above it will need to run in a special saloon or space frame class and although always a rapid car it will deffo have more contest then

Go race it in the thundersaloons if it complies with those rules. I'm not sure who still gets touring car drivers in, I suspect your targeting Paul at Zen who had Phil Glue ( I think it was ) driving his Subaru many years ago. Zen do not run a car in TA anymore
