ye andy very close, it was only my 2nd time driving the car so im still learning, but i think charlie would always have the edge with a extra 150 horses and bigger wheels but mine wont go round corners like yours lol. yet

Green focus engine is at harvey getting a rebuild after the wrong gear was chosen Never mind ,

Carbon focus is going good guns & there was nice pics & a vid of it drifting at ford fair

Andrew has been rallying a subaru of late think he is quite happy plodding along & working hard.

The regulation that they reckon keeps me out is.
5.5 Chassis must remain as OEM unless approved by the Organisers. Strengthening of suspension mounting points is allowed.

So if the Organisers approved it it would be fine.... This is a very unfair reg. As all these regulations are worded so they can be bent to suit someone, but clearly not us.

Our question is, who doesn't want the focus there, Is it the big race teams, are they scared of getting beat from a car built in a small garage in Hurlford. Would be interesting to hear there view on this, as i'm pretty sure its the Organisers that don't like the idea of us coming down to England for a shot at the title.....

We wouldn't even be bothered about points as we have no intention in doing the season, just want out to play in pro class at a couple of rounds..

If the gobstopper 2 is 1000bhp at 1000kg like the rumours state then there should be no threat in us winning.

Same story in every part of motorsport, the people who are liked by the organisers are unfairly allowed to do what they want, while the smaller guys aren't!

The chassis on the ag focus isnt a std saloon car chassis and because of that is far superior to any old cosworth powered saloon car..it simply wouldnt be fair and if they was to let that out then they would have to allow special saloons too and thats a full space frame set up which are of course worlds ahead of the saloon cars chassis..

Id love to see this car race in something like time attack but if it was ever allowed it would always be in a seperate class as said,maybe a special saloons class or space frame class?

Can't they just make a 'super special class' for Time Attack that this can run in and then give the opportunity for other teams and businesses to design and build cars that can run in the class.

Would love to see the Focus on track at Time Attack, it draws the crowds where ever it goes and will be good comp against the likes of the gobstopper.

What i dont understand is how can the AG focus not be allowed but the Infinity Focus of David Jackson is, both run pretty much the same running gear - similar power etc

Hi trev, then why is it fair that norris can shorten his wheel base, removing doors in the process, turn his engine around, tub the front end and use skyline transmission parts but Charlie can't modify his front suspension (which I beleive was the issue first time around.

One would argue that you cannt run a wrc escort due to the modified rear turret pick up points but I'd bet my last pound they would allow it..
