Guys can I just say this is awesome! I race an XR2 at the SMRC events (only done last race of 2007) but have been an avid spectatator for a while and the old car was awesome.
This one will just be spectacular! Possibly the fastest saloon around Knockhill ?
PS I'm from Ayrshire too so it's good to see local boys doing well!

This is going to be unreal when its built......
Must be good knowing at the end that you'll be driving a car that every little bit has been built by yourself from scratch.......
One question tho....
When thinking about building something like this where would you start from design wise?

Im sorry but looking at that jig with 3 sides and a roof, its madness, purely insane to attempt to do this.......
......yet, so exciting in the same breath.
I seriously cannot see how on earth you begin to place things out such as, height of transmission, engine, suspension. . etc
Truly astonishing but we all know Andy and team are more than capable on this.
you best keep this thread documented to the hour Carlo....its a different league now, hardly a bloody restoration, rebuild or a poxy project...
its the making of the car Ford need to build.
