its the front they need 10's to reduce the understeer it gets bad towards the end of a race thats why im trying to get it lighter so they don't heat up as much and moving the engine back to take the load off the front

where you racing up near you?
Pretty Extreme building a whole new car to sort out an under steer problem but i suppose if i had the money and know how i would be doing the same
do you think it will feel very heavy on the steering with 10" fronts
Either way im sure the cars going to handle fantastically and go like a fooking rocket now its so light

steering should be fine its getting a manual rack with an electric colum that you can adjust the how light you want it

10K+ Poster!!
Gatecrasher - search for Corsa EPAS on ebay.
I paid Ł50 for the one going in my escort but they usually sell for around the Ł100 mark.
Box of tricks with adjuster is usually around Ł100 too.
If you have money to burn though just buy the same thing but new off Demon Thieves for about Ł1500 + vat and plus box of tricks
Andrewg - Awesome work once again, 10 " wide fronts !! The whole build is very impressive

Me thinks the driver might cause some controversy at scrutineering!
Awesome progress, take it you're not going to manage the test day on the 2nd March Andrew ?
