it look like i broke my T5 gear box last night not to happy about it as it had a full rebild about 3 years back and has only done 7,000 miles so tomorrow night the box is coming out but by look i have a spair gear box so i will have to see if its any good

its been a long time sins iv done a update on here on my 3dr cosworth well the time has come for me to poll the motor out of the old girl as there is some thing going on inside the motor which we just can not figer out so iv started building a new motor as the plan is to use as much as pos of my old motor as the only thing we can put it down to is piston slap but its on 4x4 pistons that have only done 9000 miles in this motor
i got martin to pocket the pistons for me but as this my new block had been wire rung i had them removed which lost 1mm off the top of the block so iv had to remove the same from the pistons so they dont hit the head
So hows the engine rebuild coming along? You should have it running by now
I had some problems when I come to putting it togever mate but all sorted now the bottom end is all ready to go back in but as I was seeing my Ashley today I'v had to put it off today but all being well it should be back in and running very soon
read through this over the last few days, seen the car about quite a few times as I live nearby but I never knew just how much work went into it until now!! it is a credit to you and everyone who has worked on it. It is also a big inspiration to many I am sure.

Well it's been a very long time since this car has seen daylight . Well today my good mate Rex popped over to ware the car is tucked away and removed the battery off the old girl as I've decided it's time to get this car out of storage and get her running again for the summer . I'm planning on getting her this coming weekend . He tuck these 3 photos when he was there .
We had to drag it out with my Volvo xc90 as the bricks was stuck on . We had to put the ECU back on and pulled all the plugs out then spun it over to get the oil round the motor . After 10 Lt of petrol the motor started to cof a bit then it fired up and shut down one more turn of the key and the motor come to life and sounded so nice I stuck it in reverse and drove out the garage onto the drive way for the first time in 5 years And a quick spin round the block then loaded up ready for it's 40 mile trip home to LEICESTER Just before it's first clean in a long time So happy to have her home at last Cleaned up and tucked away for now . but a lot of work to sort this old girl out to get ready for the road

Hi Mark it was put away because of uver projects the ex was fully aware of the car but we come to a agreement that she would leave my cars a lown and my pension as long as we come to a financial agreement witch we did in the end so the cars stayed with me 👍

As the car is now out of it's hibernation I decided to get two of these this week £260 to the door witch I don't think was bad . So you can gess wot I'm doing tomorrow

They look like they will do the job well. I assume they go inside the garage? I am thinking of getting the same thing. The hydraulic ones cost a fortune.
