My 3dr Tidy up 28/09/07 PICS!!!!!
Right then, i've not long had this car and have decided it needs a 'few' things doing
It's a very solid rust free car, and it's got some nice bits, but there's plenty for me to improve on, so i'll keep updating with photos as and when i do stuff
The car

I've already got started tbh, i've fitted a new battery, the seats which were pretty tired looking have been refurbed (pics to follow)..i have a Grp A fuel pump to go on it too..
My plans for it so far include;
Paint sideskirts/spoiler/bootlid/front bumper/mirror cap/grille (it's booked in to be done )
Tidy up engine bay ( it looks a bit 'wrong' at the mo)
paint entire underside (it's rust free so i may aswell tart it up, that'll be summat for the winter time though.)
Remove RS500 Decals
General tarting up all over
As said it's a nice car anyway, but i'd like to put my own mark on it and really mint it up

Very nice looking car Martin, i'm sure you'll do a very good job of it, look forward to seeing it come up to your standard..
What plans for a rebuild then??

Update Time (albeit a smallish one lol)
first job i did was to tidy up the soundproofing at the back of the engine bay..using my own clever little way it's only a small thing but once the bay starts to change a little bit, it all helps to improve the look;
Before
After
Then the next job was to clean the car up, i hadn't done it since owning it and because it's such a big job i was being a lazy cunt putting it off but it's getting there now...oh and the RS500 stickers are gone off the side, the bootlid ones will be gone soon too
All masked up before machine polishing...
Starting to get a bit of shine to it....
i haven't touched the wheels yet, they WILL be an arse to do!! but the paintwork has had 4 different products applied so the shine should last for ages i'll get some pics outside of the garage once the sun comes out
Tonight (if i get time i'm gonna fit my the follwing ;
Grp A Pump
Power Steering Bottle
then i'm gonna do a bit more tidying of the bay

Gorgeous car Mart!
Now that your old Saph (Jim's) hasn't got Ambers anymore I actually prefer your new 3dr over the Saph!
I want those wheels! They 18's?

That looks great, how did you do the machine polishing and what products did you use? Mine needs doing after being sat in a bodyshop for months.
