EFI wiring question...injectors ect.
Hi there
I'm busy with the efi conversion on my RST mk4. I'm getting there, but there are a few things I dont get.
First off all, i've used this wiring diagram, i've read many people have used it before, so it should be okay...
But....What's the function of the red relay ? It says, fuel injection relay, does that have anything to do with the injectors ? Because, i've got a continue live at the injectors, but the ECU don't switch them to current return....So they don't work....
Second, the yellow relais, i don't get it working, but it should be ! At pin 86 I dont get any power. So the fuel pump wont work...Now i've solved that problem by using the original wiring and pimk relay for the fuel pump, dont now if that's right.
I've got a spark ! That's one thing. So the crank-sensor works fine. I've first thought that the crank sensor must also give a signal to the ecu to get the injectors working. But now I dont get it anymore.
I really hope someone can help me on the right way. I've used the complete Fiesta Turbo Ofab loom.[/url]
