Escort cosworth freshen up, Back on the road
Well the title may be an understatment But i thought i may aswell put a few pictures up over the next couple of weeks to show my progress
The reason it all started ,was a cracked block so the engine was removed
and stripped. Then the block dispatched to mountune for nickesil liners .............then while waiting i thought i would get the bay painted, which then became bay and bonnet, which then became bay bonnet and body kit ,you get the idea.
Well heres the pictures
how it looked a few weeks ago
and heres were she is now

this is my favourate,it looks like a rep you would see in a maccys doing burn outs
Im aiming to have it back and running in 4 weeks so will keep you posted on the progress
cheers andy

hmm there s not much, as perhaps zoo motorsport rear beam.
sounds like a nearly perfect engine, except the nos - for me.
want to build something simular in the winter, as the current (greens) setup is quite nice, even for the ring, but not the end of the story, and so i m collecting specs and parts lists
but your enginebay looks awesome, the HTT cover makes it sooo nice

Just a little update, its all gone fairly well this week end apart from a broken ring which is going to delay things a little , so tomorrow its order a new ring and hope it can be coated and back to me by next week end.
The upside of the extra time is, i now have time to feed my buffy side every thing is being removed from the under side and we are going to stone chip and then paint the whole floor pan and refurb beam ect.
a couple of pictures of the progress
gordon from street racers giving up his bank holiday to help me as im a pushy fooker, not that it did me any favours thanks anyway mate
and some cheeky fooker managed to catch me working, with an audiance not that they look interest ,thanks to Gordans partner Emma and daughter Giorgia who had to visit the work shop to see him
these are from yesturday i forgot the camera today so i will get some and post up the progress tomorrow

Been fairly busy over last couple of days, car is now water tight again .....well nearly, starting to look like a car again
cleaned and painted front end suspension bits, could have done with powder coating but i will see how they hold out
and got busy on the underside the origonal plan was to clean then stone chip/underseal but after cleaning im leaving it as ford intended bar buzzing the sills and treating them as ford clearly could not be arsed and they are now a little bit scabby
before
after
getting there slowly will keep you posted
