Default fao all panel beater's HELP!!!!

i'm restoring a s2 at the moment and had the usual problem with rust round the sunroof icut out the crap and welded in patches of new metal problem i have now is that i have quite a big 'dent' with the effects of the welding...so my question to you guys is wot is the best soultion to get this out rembering i plan on doing the work my self!!

sounds like youve distorted the panel from the heat of welding

you could lead it, then fill it,using the lead will stop any sinkage that,then just get a big tub of upol easy 1 and fill it

wot do you mean clean the area where it's distorted back to metal and then a skim of lead then filler over the top..?(by the way thanxs for the input )
