That looks better than factory I love the attention to detail. Can I ask are those foglights cosworth items? If so are they a straight fit to that bumper or did you have to modify them in order to fit?

They are the same as Cosworth ones and fit the standard XR4x4/ghia spec bumper, although Cosworth ones are nothing special and the same as any mk2 Sierra or Mk3 Granada.

Thanks mate,

Wheels are one of the few things that detract from the sleeper look though!

Default Manky Carpet

Carpet was showing its 30 years of age

Getting some vanish stain remover scrubbed in

After a rinse it's better, but not black yet...

Stuck it in a dustbin full of hot water and clothes dye

Came out a bit patchy as seen in the pic, I had to reheat the dye a few times and dip it a bit at a time - took bloody ages

Also been sorting out underlay, managed to get a full set in the end as the front stuff wasn't the heavy duty black version as shown in pic

4x4 ABS pump all cleaned and fitted, have since added the correct 4x4 connector for master cylinder switch

Thanks mate, it has taken a while!

Dropped the interior off at the trimmers today, should be back in around 3 weeks.

Cossy front seats and the whole lot done in black leather with diamond stitching to make it look a little different.

Went along to trimmers today and it's going pretty well

Something a bit different to what's expected in an old Sierra...

Picked up the rest of the interior this weekend.

The guy is a clever chap, made a nice job of my door cards - took him around 9 hours each not including the door handles...

Sold my Yamaha XJR1300 and most of the money went on a re-trim

The interior is going to be incredible
Love the subtle detail but not over done, this is how they should of looked from the factory.

No mate, just painted black with the same Vinylkote paint I've used on all the other interior plastics.

Too much time in my case

Rear arches finally sorted after they were hammered to clear tyres...

Sealed the lip and then a coat of tintable raptor as the arch guards don't fit any more.

Sprayed under the arch and blended to the rear quarters

Got to pull my finger out as engine should be on its way from Chicago soon !

Would love to have it on the road some time next year but work is quiet at the moment so finances may be a problem!

It's a 427 based on a small block Ford 351W, with aluminium Ford Racing z351 block, AFR220 heads, forged steel crank and rods etc

Should be lively!

Engine is from Fordstrokers in Chicago mate.

Interior was DS trim Shack in Colchester https://www.facebook.com/trimshack/

Also I've just finished making a trigger wheel so I can run EFI on the V8
