My MK3 Fiesta show car project *UPDATES* 24.04.07
i picked up myself a lil mk3 fiesta as a runaround today gonna make a bit of a project of it though, probs make it a frst rep. its only a 1.1 but i wanted somthing nice and cheap on petrol.
first thing for it tomorow is debadge the bootlid, stick a turbo steering wheel on sort the rust around the filler cap and chuck on my dtm exhaust tip till i can go and get my peco back box for it.
anyway heres a few pics
the beast of an engine lol

gonna be getting front and rear turbo bumpers for it soon and need to sort out skirts and arches. gonna mod a 3i interior to fit it.
i think i may apint it white at somtime soon, i think thats a really decent color for these, especially with black wheels.
anyway few pics of what ive done today
this morning after i gave it a clean out and a few standard pics
then heres the bad bit, the rusty area round the filler cap, same as on all mk3 fez's
right then, thats all the standard pics done,
inside the car it had this crappy old radio and standard speakers in it which were too bad to listen to
so i grabed an old pioneer cd headunit and wired that in
next thing was the crappy speakers had to go, so i chucked in these lil kicker speakers there not great but better than standard
i couldnt live with the rusty rear panel so as a quick bodge i fibreglassed it up, will fill it ones i got some paint.
i started poking it about and those rust bubles turned into this
then with a quick coat of fibreglass it looks a bit better than holes in it, if i decide to keep it for a while as a spare car then ill cut that of on weld a new section in but it will do for now.
during the day i also debadged it completly, and started to buff the bonnet a bit but the sun was too bright for that.
bonet will need a bit of filler in the hole that ford cut under the badge, and i need to sort a load of dents on the bootlid
also cut down the massive arial to make myself a nice little one

lol dont know whether i should be saying this lol buuut,
the stereo was too quite so i got my pair of goodmans home stereo speakers put em in the boot, but my only saving point for that is that i used some really nice fusion wire to wire em up.
it is fecking loud now though
