another 3door resto
well this has only took me 3 years to get round to, took it off the road in 04 with the intention of tidying the body up but as usual house move,mates cars,work and family got in the way.
well new garage now with more room and nobody elses cars to do time to start on my car.
i shall post pics as soon as i can so bare with me.
well this is were i started
didn't look to bad but had a pattern drivers wing which i didnt like and the passager door was starting to go.
started to strip it 2 years ago then left it.
will post more later up to where i am now

wing now removed genuine ford one to replace.
offending rust on the rear panel
cut that out and bend some new metal to replace,tried to find a replacement ford panel but no luck.
engine out and start to clean and paint
after paint

even had some help (hes probably done more of the work)
more offending rust
this one i dont want to change the second wing just for this so i will make this good
stripped the bay and all the running gear,fuel lines,brake
i have also started to clean back all the rubbish on the underneath of the car,the plan is now a full resto
shot blast the running gear
power coat them
paint all the underneath
this is not for any show compertition just for me that onces its done it should last another 10-20 years.hopefully

well just for inpiration this is what i have t look at every time i put my laptop on.
just to gee me up a bit,notice your cars on there ronnie(twice)
as for the helper he should pay me just to let him in the garage.
will up date more later

well time for a update
stripped all the underneath out and started to remove all the paint and sealer
found just one area of rot that has got through but this will be cut out and sorted
also i have stripped all the running gear down to have powdercoated
i will have the lot done in black except the fuel tank and the fuel pump cradle.

well not a work up date only a parts one,just some of the parts i have collecte for the project.
ap 330's well happy with these they cost me Ł415
my pace cooler with 70mm outlets
3 spoke rs wheel
under this mess is a new genuine 3door cosworth tailgate
motorsport pump and new filter
copy 500 grills
few polished parts
ford racing gauges
will be going back to airbox as i am fed up with the noise of a cone filter
thats it for now,like some i will also be running 18"comp mo's but not decided on the colour yet.
avo coilovers
as for engine i want a go 350bhp.

well not much of an update but main part is i have a new camera so the pictures at least will be a little better.
first one does anyone know how to sort this little lot out,

That cable mess makes me remind the big amount of hours I spent sorting my electrical instalation

he had them machined for him then put the parts of a standard amel inside.
as for the loom i am so looking forward to sorting that out

well not really an update more why its taking so long,at the moment i am waiting on a welder to come my way so it the meantime i got collerd for some other jobs around the house.
never done this before so read a few books then dived straight in and in turned out alot better than i thought.
still not finished the big box is going to be the pond.
