Default The Matt P and Stu Collins cheap as chips track car build!

Hi people!

Me and stu have hatched a plan to build mk3 escort track car

Its not gonna be super offensive like his S2 but something thats not
gonna cost alot to put togther and then just use it and abuse it on
track

Basicly this is made up of a shell that stu got hold from brian aka
throttlebodiedzetecturbo for a whole £50!!!!

It already came with a whole lot of braided lines throughout and fire
hoses all running through the inside, 3inch full mongoose, polybushed
alround

Ive already been on a shopping spree and the bits ive managed to get
are.

1.8 16v zetec engine
mk3 rs1600i gearbox
Full set of spax suspension
Jamie Going's old perspex windows from the Q plate
Front mount intercooler
Sparco harneses's
Fuel Cell to be placed in the boot

Gonna be running the zetec engine on a cossie turbo as ive managed to blag a zetec tubi manifold.

Not really gonna run no more than 10-12psi as it just gonna melt the pistons

Stu is gonna supply some water injection and gonna get jamie to put the
entry level gotech on to make it reliable for fueling etc

So there we go all in all the most expensive thing really is gonna be the
gotech and a blow over for the paintwork.

Wish us luck and hope to have a play with a few of you track nuts soon

Oh pics will follow at the weekend

CheeRS
