Wait 'til you see the wife lol......

That hedge goes right around the property and costs me thousands each year to have trimmed and kept under control! The shed innthetop right of the pic was put there after we cut the hedge back off the drive after the previous owners..we gained 8ft plus of land just on that side.

More update pics:

now have the Stack Dash turbo display and what a lovely bit of kit that is, I have bought some 1mm carbon sheet (real) and cut out the template, this fits the Pug binnacle:

I went to see the paint work being done and trial fitted the RS 500 intercooler which JUST fits. Stuart Brown body repairs are doing a brilliant job and the prep work he has put in is amazing. He showed me ripples in the paid that I could hardly even see but he removed them just the same. Here it is in primer:

Paint should be on in full colour over next two weeks. I have fitted a brand new auto bonnet too and had a laser company copy the "Cosworth 4x4" graphics.

Seat bases are now trimmed in leather with red stitch. I am having the dash and door cards done to suit and have added heated seat elements. Steve Claxton the trimmer is doing a brilliant job and has repaired the bolsters and given massive feedback and advice...these should be back in next week or so. The other interior parts are now flocked in Black with a few bits of Red.

Loads more bits have arrived and I will do some pictures of the rebuild when back from paint.

The trimmer just sent me a pic of the seat without headrest...nearly ready to be sent back. Door Trims being done to suit tomorrow and then just the dash to finish....keen to try the heated seat elements:

Steve Claxton is a top trimmer and does a lot of show cars...Coverall Ltd.

Picked the car up from paint shop today and I am very pleased, it is very deep red and every ripple in the fiberglass has gone, the car is dent free.

The rebuild begins on Friday as I have taken the day off....pics soon.

I spent the bank holiday plus the Friday working on the car, I will post some pics soon. Seats are in, stack dash in with wiring to finish, I made up an intercoller and radiator mount and glad that the RS500 cooler fits. Roll cage in (newly powder coated)

Car is back together and took it to Prescott hill climb for Pugfest, still not finished though. It seems to be running close to 370 bhp at 1.8 bar. Lots to sort as it is still noisy as hell after Ł500 of sound proofing and dynamat. Lots to fix and improve but I will get there. More pics soon but the bodywork is looking good IMO

Hi All, here are some pics now the car is running, albeit not fully re-trimmed and needing a black strip on the bumbers and side rear quarter badges needed.

These were taken at Prescott Hillclimb last Sunday, I have changed the plate from J20 SRS which was supposed to read J205 RS:

Lots happening. The car is having Vipec Management with coil on plugs fitted, and today I have pulled the trigger on a twin scroll Borg Warner turbo and manifold to be mapped in too. Rocker cover is being refurbed in gloss black and polished.

Lots of update pics to follow and a rolling road print out north of 400bhp is expected (turbo can do 520 flat out). Less lag than t34.

I have also got the mk supra diff conversion and have been looking at opplinger gear kit with close ratios for a more sprint gearing for road use. 170 plus mph is no use to me.

Thanks for the comments. The trimmer is Steve and I can vouch for his work and a really good guy who really tries to add value and get it right. Steve is on 07769 313 597.

I did toy with the T16 on white but the car has always been red and it was easier to stick with that.

A few update pics, the other Pug in the pic is my Steel Grey 1.9, one of only 300 made in that colour....slowly refurbing to factory fresh but it does have a gti6 2.0 16v in it.

I am currently toying with either a Skyline box or Opplinger long box, I have a Supra diff and fitting kit for the rear so will probably do a front diff upgrade too.

Thank You. I have been toying with the spoiler, do you think it should have the big PEUGEOT written across it?

Update time,

The car has been away for some time being sorted:

New Stainless exhaust to match new Turbo spec,
New inlet manifold to MAD spec with Borg Warner twin scroll Turbo.
Vipec engine management running coil on plug and 1000cc injectors
New engine loom to suit
Mapped by MAD

I have just seen the dyno graphs and on high boost it made 468 BHP and pretty much 500 of torque, low boost is 415bhp.

With some long studding, cams and head work it will make 500bhp with ease.

I have a supra diff kit waiting here to go on with a newly rebuild by Bara...so next is to finish the interior and then add the oppliger close ratio long box and the biggest brakes I can fit under the 16 inch comps.

I will upload the dyno graphs when I have a good copy.

Hey, Thank You for doing that for me...very kind!

I will try and post up a pic of the map from when it had the T34 on..it made 330bhp but was skipping on the rollers so probably was a bit higher. Not a bad increase though and the graphs should show how early it spools in comparison.
