Default 3DR Replica with a difference **UPDATED 2/3/07**

hi everyone hope you like this.
I been a fan of cosworths especially the 3dr since a young age and always wanted one of my own, But as I am still only 19 a real one is out of the question. So I decided to save up and build my own replica hoping to convert it to A real cossie in the following years, It has turn out better than I expect and with that is just as I wanted, As above i hope you all like it as much as me.

i'd like to thank Paul (3dr-rally-slag) for all the help especially for spraying the car and Richard fore all there help.

When I purchased this car it was running a tied old twin cam that leaked like a sive and the gearbox wasnt much better, It had about 6 different looms in it, So it all had to go now it has :-

*A pinto with a kent race cam and flowed, ported and polished head

*vernier adjustable pulley

*A four branch manifold

*scorpion back box

*koni adjustables all around

*cossie 2wd brakes

*16' revolutions

*3dr recaro interior

Below are before and after clips and if you click the link underneath you can see the full rebuild pics

car did 130bhp and 167nm of torque on the rollers

Any comment's welcome hope you like

Thanks to everyone who has helped one the way

Thanks for taking the time to read my post

Richard Link below for all the pictures of the build

Love the look of that mate! Looks really well!

You have a good taste in cars considering most 19 yr olds these days!

God yes

Some of the disasters you see driving around here, all that money wasted, you just have to wonder what was going through their minds when the created it

Back to this car though, on a second look, as it's got rally livery, I think it would look awesome with the Revolutions done in white, with big mudflaps and some spotlamps on the bumper, that would look awesome

Also, sorry to put another one up

What are body parts getting like to source for these things these days? Repair panels etc? Also bits of the 3dr bodykit? Are they hard to find? How expensive? Cos if I'm thinking of one, I gotta work out what the damage is gonna be

bits are getting more and more difficult to get hold of especially things like rear window rubbers etc

ebay is very usefull for getting bits but is not always the cheapest.

as for my taste i dont believe any car has the looks and presents as the 3dr.

I'm working on getting a set of mo's in white for it.

thanks for all comments
