well it's been a while, still been collecting some bits, a lots happened that I haven't updated about.
Engine has changed slightly, same spec.
Engine bay all painted, all front end components have been stripped, powder coated, blasted, zinc coated.
Just got new Adjustable TCA from MK Motorsport which are spot on. Now to put it back together and take to Mark for mapping.
Biggest process is the 80+ hours in removing the dash, tidying up all wiring and removing all traces of old alarms and getting peady for the emtron, all loom re taped and looks awesome. All work done by DazC and is sterling work.
Car sats under its cover feeling sorry for itself, will aim to drag it put and start bolting bits back on it in the coming weeks, however a pending house move some time within the next 9 weeks are going to put a halt to it all.
I hope there will be a new garage build thread too and lots of updates on the escos always loved this car I just wish I’d of got one when they was sensible money

Cool, if you need somewhere to kip over for the night then give me a shout, it would be good to see the car. I am not a million miles from Mark and need to drop my engine in to him at some stage.

I don’t often look for any of my old cars but as my eldest is playing a video game with a monte as his race car, I thought I would see if M400 was online. I had the car from 3 years old for around 6 years and toured Scotland a few times with it. As I had a heavily modified Sapphire 4x4 (600 bhp) partly built by Sue Collins, (who had M600 BHP) I didn’t modify M400 outside of the Rondells, Morette Headlamps, stage 1 chip and an exhaust. It’s good to see it’s still around and it brings back great memories! The pic was one of many from being out with the car and we where at the Forth Bridge at the time.
Hi, if you are interested, I still have one half sets of the original Brooklyn plates. Unused, as I picked up a pheasant on the A924 our of Pitlochry which destroyed (beak first) the grill and No plate. The first set got lost in the post, so Brooklyn sent a second set, then two sets turned up on the same day!
