Hi mates!!!
How can i fit zatec E blacktop (from focus ST170) in the place of 1.4duratec feeza! I intend to use the original feeza iB5 gearbox! Can I use the original starter motor? What modifications are necessary for engine brackets/mountings! Have a enaugh space for inlet/exhaust manifould?

The ST170 is a 6 speed so wont you need to use the gearbox aswell?

I dont think he will have to use it but it would be a good conversion.Im sure the engine bay and sub frame are very similar to a focus.

Nah he can use the standard box if he wants,but if hes getting the engine he may aswell fit the lot,although he may need a pedal box

I will use the original gearbox from the fiesta because I haven't 6 speed gearbox (only engine and Megasquirt ECU), with flyweel from zetec silvertop 1.8, not the twomass flyweel from ST170!
In Bulgaria the traffic is right ( left hand drive vehicle )

Ive seen a Focus Rs Zetec turbo engine and MTX box fitted in a mk6 Fiesta and a mate of mine is doing the same conversion. Looks like the blacktop Zetecs pretty much bolt straight in using a slightly modified mount.

Your gearbox won't fit to the Zetec engine. The Starter Motor is on the back of the Zetec, The starter is on the front of your engine, if it is a Zetec-SE engine (badged as a duratec.. it's not)

Best way to go about it is to find an IB5 bell housing that wil fit the Zetec, Most common one used is from a Ka (1.3 Endura)

The selecter on the 6-Speed is on the top and it generally fouls the brake servo. Only way I know of is to remove the servo... which equals pedal box.
