Just some minor updates:
...after having installed the big wing with around 7 liters of oil 10w60 Castrol RS "Edge" take it baby
As I ve no center console - thanks to the pre owner, I decided to get the dash a bit "tuned":
Here's the result:
There will follow some dip switches like fans on all the time
and a 12 V plug...

Some more minor updates:
Changed the pressure claps under the rear bumber.
bling:
and I was on dyno again
did 338,6 HP and 424 Nm, much too less....
even had a LAMBADA of 0,70 - 0,72!! ---> Stu will receive my software this week and rework it, and send it back, as well as a new -31 actuator, as my old one broke
I will keep you updated!!

hmm stock head gasket is not soo good in that region, even not if you don t have head studs or so
i ve stock turbo, no special bearings
stock diffs and gearbox, but i don t do launching (car standing still and then launching with 5000 rpm) I drive the car on a the nurburgring, so its a bit okay
My clutch is an uprated pressure plate from Sachs, rest ist stock.
But thinking to get an AP 6 paddle with hydraulic conversion, if the setup now is too bad for the 380 bhp conversion.
Aim is 410 - 420 bhp 400 lbft with the Siemens injector setup, ported head and fine tuning from Stu!!

a "small" update:
As I already mentioned, the pre owner, put the HTT Engine back to Weber Marelli Electronics and T34 Turbo,
so there are 2 looms in the car.
2 ecu plugs and so on...
tot means "dead" - just some on the intake side of the engine
co drivers foot rest
took out the alcantara dash, to find more dead plugs
in the left hand drive car version the abs block (big) is on the left side...
removed it, to see the rubber plug at the fire wall where the cables go through, and to find out, that the originally white car wasn't painted properly:
overall view so far:
taken out dead wires, from old ecu plug:
at the central electric box, there are nearly again that amount of dead cables.... will be hard work to get them all out, but I think one or two saturdays, this will be sorted, hopefully!!
Some other parts:
Adjustable track control arms:
mounted:
carbon vents:
cosworth oil pump (thanks Matt Lewis!!)
The engine bay will have to be partly new painted.... thinking to do it in matt black, as you can t see all the dirt then
and thinking to get the wheels powder coated matt black also....

Very nice car, I really like the wheels and the interior
I have bought the same wheels for my escort too when i saw it on your car.
I dont have a good picture yet of them on the car. I bought them as motorsport 18" so there isnt a center cup on them. I was thinking maybe get them sprayed in a gun metal color or somthing.
Really cool to see a bit diffrent escort witch isnt like the rest of them

small update
got TÜV approval for most of the things on the car, like the brake (what a headache )
currently i have a 5 days plate, since monday on, and we had to do a bit of work on the car, but now its ready and yesterday i did the first 100 km ride, without any problems, and the car is absolutly unleaking. never saw that on my car in the last 2,5 years.
will have some smaller updates within the next 2 months, but no big things (ie. plastic windows on the rear, WRC wing, maybe a cage)

But i decided to hold it.
currently i ve something running around in my head...
GT30 conversion, but that would mean to get the engine out again, for a update piston wise and head wise (work and inlet cam)
currently we are welding the new bootlid for the wrc wing (sold the wale tail with boot lid) and getting the
front wing
hood
wrc wing
bootlid

so
ordered an AET GT30 Turbo, with some improvement, will fit straight away and be capable of roughly 550 bhp air....
not sure if I gonna see that numbers, as i m looking for 450 +, not really 500 +
bought a 200 block bored to 91.00 mm with a set of brand new Accralite pistons (CR 7,5:1), a balanced standard crank as well as a set of weighted rods.
this bottom will be machined for 6 long studs as well as updated oil gallery for oil spray jets.
my small turbo head, with new valves + guides and so and some porting will be used for that engine as well. dunno what cams to go for, but it shall not a peak power engine, more likely a good drivable one, with much torque ( new gearbox needed soon I suppose)
everything for the engine will be done from Post Motorsport in Germany, as he has an engine dyno to map everything afterwards, I could assemble most of the things myself, but in my eyes this would just be senseless, as the engine has to be mapped after all....
as as time is a missing good for me, I m thinking getting the engine done by a company, can t be too bad....
currently the tailgate and the wrc spoiler beeing painted, i heard that i can collect everything tonight.
i m waiting for polycarbonate rear windows as well, to get these parts fitted.
hoping to be ready somewhere in june.... lets hope the best. pictures to follow then...
the alcantara parts are sold since 2007, to Cossiemaden in Denmark.
standard escort dashboard is fitted with carbon door plates. was a money issue, as well as a thing that alcantara parts does n really fit in a completly empty car in my eyes.... is more likely a luxury thing somehow.
thinking about a small cage as well, regarding stiffness, but, when I look at M600BHP (John's car) i don t see the point of getting this done really....
but no final decision is made.

brakes with brand new calipers, no used old ebay stuff, roughly 1500 eur, depends on the guy who machine the bells.
maybe we can meet up then when you come down to us...
car will stay together for this season, as i want to drive a bit, all time building creates that you lose the power and fun at working....
