at the moment they are about 350bhp each
mines going to get a live map and greys soon though so i should see the shy side of 400bhp
just ask the guy in newquay with the white saff cosworth think he had a bit of a shock when he booted it and he still lost by quite a bit

rx7 is nice i had a drive of it on sunday to see what all the fuss was about very nice, instant power and really smooth all the way to redline they even have a little buzzer to tell you when to change up. lol
he is having trouble at the moment though think he broke a diff mount or something as getting loads of vibration from the rear and feels like the wheels are guna fall off was ok on fri but i think spending a weekend trying to stay with the kits didnt do it much good.lol

first time i went in my mates kit (before i built mine) i full on shit myself but like anything you get used to it. just unneaving for passengers as it feels like your going to fall out the side of the car when it comes on boost

i never said i get bored of it down the strights it could alway use a little more but blasting it round b roads with the ass end twiching at 80mph as you come off a corner will never be boring
true about not really topping it though although there are faster cars like deano's skyline, reyland escort ect i dont think you would get quite the same rush as your in a sealed cockpit and not in a plastic tub with the wind trying to suck your face off
a bloke took me out in a focus rs and was really trying to impress me with now fast it was down this piece of straight i almost fell asleep to be honest!

yup thats the idea
if you cant afford to spend the bucks on the big toys then just build something that can compeate at a different level
on the current spec ive already murdered a saff coss, 355 spider, boxter s, 911 turbo, and lots of bikes

I've just been convinced to put a cossie engine in the kit car that I'm building(thanks to pete,RS specialists )
Your westy must have given a few so called "real sports cars" a bit of a shock

just be carefull of that back end when you overtake cars
alan, had mine for just over a year now but its only been on the road for about 4 onths of that as i crashed it
low tuned cossy sounds like a good idea cause the high tunned ones are.... um......very interesting

I'm only running 10psi at the moment. The engine has been mapped at 30psi on the dyno.
At 10psi the rear end lights up in 1st, 2nd and just pulls like a bas#ard in 3rd but it does have 245 cut slicks on the back.
Hopefully will try to set up the traction control and boost control later in the summer and then I can try to increase the boost a bit.
Took my mate out in the thing last night who has a GSXR 1000 and he rekons that it will be a close thing and was surprised with the amount of traction the thing has.
Have a few mods lined up for winter to improve throttle response a bit.
Jenvey inlet manifold, set of F1 1000cc injectors, latest MBE management system too me thinks.
These things are massive fun
faster, lighter, better handling than any for escort/seira cossie (no disrespect to you cossie guys as I would love a 3dr myself).
Had highly tuned ERST's for over ten years and the difference is like a golf cart and a scud missile

it will start getting interesting when you turn the bost up mine will spin in 3rd quite happily when your trying to overtake somthing
should be taking mine for its livemap and grey injectors soon so may be able to stay with you for just that little bit longer
tbh at that point its not who has the faster car its who has the bigger balls or the least respect for there life. lol
