Yes!! Its my friends car. Built it a few years ago. Its his daily driver!!

Why would you make it front wheel drive?
Surley you'd just get an engine from a Sierra and keep it RWD? Or even go 4x4? :cry:
If you got the mounts from a Sierra you could have even fitted a TDCi engine out of a MK1 Focus!

2. The inner guards and bulkhead of the mk1 where clean rotten
3. He got the mk6 escort for free and the mk5 escort van beam/leaf spring for free
4. He is a bodyman by trade
5. He literally got the escort for free, after doing a few jobs for a guy
6. The project standa him under a grand and will never be for sale
7. The same guy who built this is doing a mk2 escort with a mk1 impreza turbo floor/running gear
