I got the tyres swapped over and fitted the comps to focus, focus rims to saff earlier. I think the frs rims look alot nicer on the saff with 215/35's fitted and it seems to drive nicer than on the comps. Do you think the wider offset on the comps (et33) would cause it to drive worse? I had to fit 8mm spacer on the front to clear the coilys but they still sit in further than the comps. The nsr comp used to catch the arch very lightly when loaded up but the frs rims have 225/40 r888's on the rear and there's loads of room

Wheels should be functional not pretty. Can you fit the brakes you want or those very wide wheels to aid grip. In my case can i get the gearing i require.

When I bought the car was on 16" Mondeo Alloys. Completely useless .

Went to 17" Rondells, looked good but limited on brakes & tyre size also car was too low handled like a sack of shite

The Dymags looked Brutish were 17" but wider at the back. Car back to normal height & very good over the quarter.

The Super T's bought for Topspeed gearing 17" on Front 19" rear maybe my favourite look for the car.

My Road wheels Speedline Corsa 17" front 18" rear. Alround the best combo but Topspeed limited to 208mph.

My mate was breaking a 60k mile xr4x4 for the engine and gearbox today when I went round. Good old boy said "help yourself to any bits you want"

I got all the correct screws for the interior (lost a few when I reshelled it), I butchered my speedo surround years ago fitting a turbo timer so I got a mint one out the 4x4, my steering column surround never fitted right so had that too and the last thing I got was all the Amber's out of it the passenger front has a tiny hole in but they'll do for now

The frs rims are growing on me now. Just need some more 215/35's as 2 were nearly dead so I had to fit some 225/40 r888's on the rear

If your putting black wheels on a car you might as well put a set of black steelies on your car cause you can hardly see black wheels.
