at least the gt35's won't surge
how to cure your surging gt 35 cosworth fit 2 and a viper 8.3 litre push rod engine
the engine spec will be high compression, don't want to suffer with it being gutless low down roflol

chris has put some poxy bucket seats in it and i don't fit, so i haven't even driven it yet, or been passenger, i cam back to america straight after bhp show and before it was on the road, hope to have a play at xmas, when i come back to the uk, and me and chris can start my fast project ready for next summer.

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
To be fair to the YB producing big reliable power, haven't heard much about people running the ally blocks so far, this might be the solution to big horsepower reliability, but at Ł4k a pop I'm not suprised at the "low takeup". I'd be interested to see what difference it makes to stability for big pwr engines and if they're worth their money would give the crank an easier time too.
In theory the smaller the engine the better.............. But theory be damned when a near stock motor makes 600hp on the rollers and the car would run 11's all day just needing a service every 12,000. lol

blow me, chris, u is posting on PF, let me sit down , will get axle sorted asap, along with one for my project, i'll ask the guy about the 2.47 axles as ur staying 4 stud, but my guess is u will have to run the 2.73, i have got a spare brand new genuine ford 2.73 crownwheel and pinion if we break one,

I don't know first hand, but from everything I've heard the handling's not bad. As bj928 pointed out it's an all ally engine and mounted quite well back in the body. Don't know the weight of a YB off hand, not much, but there's some extra associated weight with manifold, turbo, intercooler, pipework etc.

I think it was only running on about 8 & 1/4 cylinders that day as well, due to blocked injector feed pipes, or something or other. It did look fast being there watching it as well.

yes it was, it launched well on the last run but when chris snatched 2nd it popped the slave and jammed the clutch, so no drive but all gears, shame as it was a good launch
