My E46 330d Touring - gave £4k for it this time last year with 110k on the clock and apart from doing normal consumable stuff like discs, pads, tyres, servicing etc. it's not cost me anything.

Effortless to drive on long journeys and hasn't let me down once.

What suspension have you got on the Mondeo? Looks lower than mine, and I want to get mine down a bit more.

Yeah, they're standard Zetec S bumpers, although I put the black section in the middle at the bottom. I've also taken the 'flyeyes' film off the lights since that pic, and it looks better for it.

Hey Dan, it's on 30mm Eibach springs all round (which I think yours is on) and KYB shocks at the back as it had self levelers on.

Must just be the angle

Not that modified but some estate lovers might appreciate it, quite a rare car which took me a while to find.

STI wagon..

Looks great James, if it was me, I'd have some PFF7s and a Prodrive Style front bumper on there a-sap to finish it off.

Bloody rare wee beast though, any more pictures of it mate??

Cheers,
Grant

Hi mate. I did have some replicas of those wheels on there but never liked them from the first moment I felt their weight. Some genuine ones might be possible one day but I'd really like some rota torque drift's. Not sure the prodrive bumper fits, obviously I'm lacking the saloon front wings.

I've got a couple of pics, I'll have a look later.

I bought my mrs a classic too. That's pretty rare in that it had 47k on it last year, in dark mica red. You don't want to know what it now looks like full of horse apparel, dog hair and the mess from a 3yr old

Its a great motorway mileage muncher. Costs about £85 to fill up but I normally get 500+ miles from that.

Scares me when I think back to the time I was using my supercharged ST170 as a daily driver! My poor wallet...

The seats are made for specification by Recaro..

Here something to read about this Mk1.

The AMS Sierra.

The magazin Auto Motor and Sport raffled a unic car to their readers every year. 1984 they managed to create an extra ordinary Sierra estate. In cooperation with Ford, Recaro and other companies there was generated a superlative Sierra estate: a XR4i with the 2.6 cologne v6 and RWD.

In 100% handcraft the special gearbox was built as well as the sideskirts and the exhaust.. The estate also was equipped with ABS (1984), which was mass-produced in the future time. Of course its lowered.
Recaro has created a very unic interior with heated front seats and memory function. 16 speakers were mounted in the whole car.

It only has two pre owners (1984 it was first licensed to Ford and then to the winner of the raffle) , has run 75.000 km, is free of rust and is for sale..

Some more pics of the Mondeo:

He often changed the wheels and size, from 18" to 20" and the suspension conversion. This is, how it looks at the moment. The C-Max in the second pic belonged to him first and now to his missus..

Cheers Nick

Nick ST - The Mondeo estate in Black looks like it has the Ford Individual pack fitted judging by the colour of the leather in it, when I worked for Ford we had various cars with the indivdual pack on them, my favourite was the Frozen White Kuga it looked great!

Yes, you're right, its an Individual with the rare special interieur. Great car, great owner who cares a lot of his Mondeo.
The white Kuga Individual is my favourite of new fords, too
