Default newby with 850 t5r

hi all am new here so take it easy on me lol .
had a few fast fords in the past escort rs turbo and a frst and a mk5 rs2k
aswell as a few other makes and models , anyhow i couldnt afford a cosworth so ended up with a 850 t5 and by chance it happened to be a R didnt know much about them at the time .
had the car 2.5 years and have come to be fond of the old girl , she makes 278bhp and 361 lb , not bad for something with 185k on , also runs a 14.3@101mph at york
heres some pics
hope av done this ryt

yeah thats the peril , that made 591bhp last time i looked , doesnt get used much as from what i know the gearbox cant cope , theres a few with over 400bhp but them are running gt30s , a lad in belgum lapped the ring in 8.04 a while back aswell

That looks lovely mate, love these cars. Are they expensive to run? Not usually a fan of dark wheels but they look great, they really compliment the rest of the car .

there not to bad if ya take ya time , i know a lad with a 850r auto and hes had 38mpg , cant get anywhere near that in mine tho lol , parts arnt to bad either , iirc disk and pads for the front were 120quid from volvo , only problem is that theres not a lot of firms that tune them .
350bhp is preety easy to achive with all bolt on stuff from the newer models and that should run low 13s
