A few pics of my mates 40k mile Series 2 RST
Just thought I'd post a few pics up of my mates Series 2 that he's recently bought.
It's only had 2 owners before Scott, only got just over 40k miles on it and has been dry stored for the last 17 years!
When he asked me to come and have a look at it for him I thought 'here we go, this is gonna be a shed!!!' like an awful lot of them out there are!
How wrong was I?!!!! It is truly absolutely mint!!
There is no rust on any of the wheelarches or sills, not even a blemish! The chassis rails, bulkhead sections by battery tray and fuse box, down by the crossmember and under the boot floor is perfect! The engine is the quietest CVH I have ever heard too!
Heres some pics!
He took it for an MOT a couple off weeks back and it sailed through no probs.
I did a bit of work on it today, changed the cam belt, new fuel pump as the old one was quite noisy etc......
Got a couple of other bits to do like get it all set up and a good service and things but it doesn't really need anything doing!!!
It's really nice to see examples like this are still out there if you look hard enough!! If he hadn't have bought it, it would've been sitting in my garage now!!! Sod!!! Lol!

Very nice original ERST, mate....
You're mate should keep it as it is, they are getting very rare in this condition....
