Sure it done a 12 second quarter up the strip,but it was damp.The owner also has a Bedford cf van with a 600+hp cosworth engine that runs 13 second quarters.Not bad for a 2 ton van!

in car vids seem like its got some big power, very laggy on that tight track though!
I have seen that bedford cf att he vauxhall show, it was doing 15's then.

They both have similar spec field motorsport engines.Theres full write ups on both cars on turbosport forum.I dont think the escort is set up for drag racing and the owner just uses it as a bit of fun hence why it may not run mega quick times.

i have seen that run at york a few times as well and it didn't seem that quick. struggled to do a burnout cos it didn't seem to have enough power to spin the wheels up,either that or it has no power at the bottom end.
then when it did get going it span a lot and he had to back off.

very very unreliable both vehicles the amount of money the owner has spent with Field Motorsport is sick and no real results to back either vehicle up.

@TOTB 2008 i was Takihn to Tommy Field as he was sat in the Bedford van and he was going on some about it, saying look at these Rouse Sport Front seats etc etc (shame they were only standard Saph Leather Seats) didn't want to burst his ego that i'd owned a Genuine Rouse Sport and the seats are totally different so i walked away having a good laugh at his expense

has a big spec so could be 630hp,should be doing 9's with the right suspension and tyres mind,if it does have that power mind.There a couple of mk1&2's in the tens with a lot less power and terry davis mk2 runs 9's with 500hp.

Have to say that Mk1 may have some nice parts on it but it also has some bloody awful mods, letterbox exhaust and air vent being two !

Judging on the way he liked to post pictures of himself holding ridiculous amounts of money I get the impression the blokes a little up his own arse as well. Maybe not though, just my opinion
