Default My WR480 Supermoto

I sold my YFZ Quad to build this Supermoto, I am not sure I made the right decision as I really miss my quad. I had planned to do a build thread but when I get working on it I don't stop to take pictures hahaha.

Will ride it for a while and see if I love it more....

It is:
2005 WR450, fully road legal first registered 2007.

Engine:
Fully rebuilt with new bearings and seals throughout
Brand new casings from USA at stupid money
Cases modified to use Quad oil squirter nozzle to safe guard the common WR wrist pin failure
07 YFZ oil pump, higher flow and pressure for nozzle upgrade
Brand new WR Crank
Athena 480cc Cylinder
JE Piston
Ported head with Kibblewhite +1 valves
Radius cut valve seats
YZ exhaust cam
FCR Carb sent to USA and taper bored to 42mm
White Brothers Carbon Pro 2 Titanium system(my favourite bit to be honest)

Wheels and brakes:
Excel Rims with Talon Gold hubs
Dunlop GP Sportmax tyres
Braking front 4 pot caliper and 320mm rotor
Brembo master
DID Gold chain

Frame:
Re-painted silver
New One Industries Graphics
UFO Supermoto front fender
Trailtech Vapor dash

As you can see I have spent a FORTUNE and everything is what I consider the best. The top end head work is what makes these big bores really breath.

So what do you think? Some pics:
Mid build

Parts

The bike, now some eagle eyed ones will notice some bits missing but that's just the day I got it together properly.

Cool!

Makes me want to keep mine and supermoto it. How do you find the brakes? And if you dont mind me asking, how much did the brake set up cost you?

I bought the brakes in a kit with the wheels, they seem to perform great so far but not used them in anger yet. Check USA for prices, I am in NZ so not comparable.
