I thought about mounting it in front of the passangerseat, like many touring/trackday/rally cars have. But it wouldn't be that good for a daily racer.

If it goes up in flames, I hope I got time to get it

Footwell for me (no pics at the mo soz)

I can reach it from my seat. Its only a small one, no way it would put an oil fire or petrol leak out, I have it more than anything to save me and the passengers, the car can burn!!

I'd put one in the boot if it was plumbed in, but (god forbid) if you have a crash and are stuck in the car, how do you get to the boot?

i have a plumbed in jobbie and will be sticking a hand held one just in front of the passenger seat (they are fixed)

just so i can get to it if needed, dont think either would save the car, just to give me time to eject

I have it net to the centre tunnel. people dont tend to bash legs on it.
