A few recent snaps of mine from a show at the weekend, I had hoped to have had a new toy by now and the saph moved on but it looks like the deal has fallen through so ill be keeping it till i find a new buyer

I have a plan for the long term, I'm gonna strip all the bits from the car I no longer need and sell them, send the shell to the crusher
Then store the running gear for how ever long it takes to find the right car to put them in.
Tbh mate I need a little break from Cossies to get my head round what I want to do next, I'm thinking 3dr tbh, will be worth more in the long run I think.
Makes me really sad looking at these pics tbh, when I think of all the effort that went into it

soul destroying mate ,i cant imagine how i would feel if this happened to me tbh.like you say sit back take stock of the situation and something equally as good or maybe even better[which will be difficult i know] will surface ,and before you know it a new build thread will be started karl

Exactly mate, it maybe sounds a bit weird, but then again not as you own a Cossie lol, but I kind of feel like I've been released from the Cossie stranglehold at the moment lol, I'm not spending every spare second pissing about with it and every spare quid lol, I will have another in time but at the moment I'm enjoying the break from it if that makes sense

karl ,its funny how it takes something like this too happen to make us realise that we are slaves to our cars sometimes and everyother part of our life seems to take a back seat .i know sometimes i become all consumed by my cars when infact they should be a hobby not a life sentence lol.

Haha, I know mate, me and Steff have been together for 6 and a half years and the only holiday we've had is our honeymoon last year because all my time and money has always gone on the Sapph
I know I'm going to get stick for this but I'm buying my mates 08 plate Mountuned Focus ST-3 next week, I really fancy something for now that I can just use without worrying too much about it, but at the same time it's a beautiful car to drive, ok it's not fast compared to the Sapph but I'm really not bothered in the slightest.

Your doing the right thing Karl. Just take your time... All the parts can still be used again on another Saff...

It's painted grey and had the top skimmed I've got 5/6 things before it's completed. I've got a stainless power steering cap off Trev on there.. Along with a few other things (All stainless) Kinda been my project since deciding to keep it at the start of the year. New wheels was the start, and i've always wanted to upgrade bling but never had the funds. But a £650 ppi claim came from an old credit card in so thought... Why not

Really sad that its not like in those pics... Don't think another saff would be the way to go, its never going to be THE one.... If it was me, id be thinking white 3 door. Couldn't be any other colour. Good luck with it!!
