I came to this site specifically to look for some european mk1 Focus parts that are difficult to get in America but probably a dime a dozen across the pond. Do I have to pay to post in the Wanted section of Buy/Sell?

Try eBay uk for focus parts as those cars a litterly as common as dog shit over here

your best bet is to look on UK eBay. I have looked into shipping bumpers, lights, and grilles over there. But the cost of shipping is completely ridiculous.

the only way to do it and see any profit is to hoard a load of parts together, then send them in a shipping container to a trsuted friend over there who can dsitribute.

yeah i know. im willing to pay ridiculous shipping prices. but for some reason I really can't find what i am looking for on ebay. if anyone has a 98 focus grille and/or sun visors........hmu haha

Just a regular grille? Or the meshed one fitted to our version of the SVT?

For the regular grille and visors, it would be about £15-£20 to purchase. Then obviously plus postage

to be honest i can't find an OEM grille on ebay UK, just some badgeless knock-offs. if you can point me in the direction of where to get any of this stuff, it would be much appreciated.

thanks so much for that but i'm looking specifically for the 98 focus grille (i think? it has a smaller mesh than the ST grille and the one in the above post)

By all means, search on eBay for the correction part and my offer still stands.

To my knowledge, there is only 4 types of grille in the UK
the one I linked, ST170, regular prefacelift focus with horizontal slats, and a metallic meshed one (usually chromed)

am i crazy or is the one in the picture i linked different than the one you linked? isn't the mesh smaller in the one i linked? from my understanding that grille is from the 98 focus only (we didn't get the focus in the USA until 2000)

that would be the one. now if i can just find one without a broken tab! i must be getting different search results on eBay UK for some reason because I get more or less the same results searching eBay UK that i get when searching eBay US
