oil in RS2000, part, full or mineral? and 5-30 or 10-40?
as above really, gonna change the oil in me RS2K's
do i want part synthetic?
also does i really matter if i use 10-40 or 5-30?
as halfrauds selling 10-40 @ £8.99 for 5L
or 5-30 @ £18.99 for 5L
sorry for bein so stupid but i always get confused when it comes to oil

rseb whys that mate i thought 5w 30 was thinner than 10w 40
my cars done 125000 and i use any shell 10w 40 in it rattles when cold but is dead quiet when warm

saint: you r right, it is thinner...
if it rattles when cold like that, then i would recomend 15w50... full sintetic again and always!! will help you with those "strange noises"...

i used to use 15w 50 in my cossie and was a good oil but i just thought that was to much for the rs2k but i`m up for tring anything lol
I made the big mistake of engine flushing the car about 3000 ago hense why she makes some noise when cold............
