Help!
Have any of you folks had any dealings engine wise with specialists or garages in recent months / years and been realy happy with the price / result.

I've got an '89 2.9 4X4 with knackered rings on number 4 and 6 cyinders and I need to know if anyone can either fit me a set of rings or a decent second hand engine in the South / SE London area for a not ridiculous price.

I'm a tech myself, but obviously all my tools are stuck at work, and also i'm just too knackered and fed up with cars at the end of the week to be pulling a 4X4 Sierra apart on the drive - that will be a last resort if I can't find anyone affordable to do it for me.

Wouldn't mind a 24v Cossie conversion either if that wasn't going to be silly money.
