ford galaxy keeps cutting out whilst driving help please
hiya can anyone help i have a ford galaxy 2.0 litre petrol n-reg whilst driving the car just shuts down. i have to leave it a couple of minutes then it will start up again ive changed the map sensor, the maf sensor and crank shaft sensor really need some help please thanks kim

My parents had a galaxy a few years back. It was a tdi, but the same issue they had may have affected your's. Check for damp unerneath the front passenger seat, as that was where a lot of the electonic control modules were housed. Theirs was pretty much flooded, and caused some major running problems.
It's a long shot, but as nobody else seams to be able to help, thought I'd try.

mine is an s reg and is doing the same but it as also started to be very slugish , took it to 2 garages and none can find a fault , in the mean time cant go anywere in case not start again and is costing a fortune to keep having it looked at shell

relay 30
no it didnt but i did fix it , if u go on the ford galaxy owners club site and put in relay 30 replacement , it gives u full details on how to replace it relay 30 that is , it is a bugger to get to but it is really well detailed and the bloke as added photos aswell . the relay cost me £22 and it took a couple of hours to do , but my car is working brilliently and had no probs since . let me know if its helped
