Default C-MAX MK1 (Focus MK2) GEM module problem !

Hi, this is my first write on this forum !

I have c-max mk1 from 2004 year (tdci 2.0 136hp/100kw) and generally I'm satisfied from the vehicle !
Before few weeks I wanted change bulbs from the headlights (T20, 5W/12V) with LED bulbs but from the side of the steering wheel headlight I make shortcut on that line because the led bulb was in shortcut inside (defective led bulb).
After this incident I loose: left front position light, left rear position light, rear plates light, cruise control.
I found wiring schematic and there is no fuse on the T20 bulbs and that bulbs is connected directly on GEM module without any fuse !
Here in authorized ford service for GEM replacement and reprogramming they want 1000$us and this cost too much for me !
I want to know it is possible somehow reset the GEM module with disconnect the main battery ?
Or can I access with ELM327 OBD2 Scanner tool Modified For Ford MS-CAN HS-CAN and with "ELMconfig" software Read (save data values) and Reset the module ?
...will help some procedure or I must change the GEM module ???
Thanks
