Hi! Got a for ka with 1.7 puma engine in it, engine blew so replacing it atm! The car has power steering but don't like the lack of feel, so bought a manual rack but but doesn't seem to fit! Am I being stupid or is the joint onto the column different on non-pas and pas ka's? Everything else fits up ok just the uj at the column!

It will be a different uj. I'd just buy a whole 2nd hand column off a non pas ka

Ok! Cheers! Thought that! Not easy to find a non pas ka column! Had a machinist mate round and said if I can't get a column then he can easily make an adapter rod for me, which is handy!

I got a UJ off ebay, the rack a mate had and I used one fo those "Ask a scrappy" type sites for a column. Mine had PAS but someone had taken off the pump and blanked the rack so it was awful.
