My escort mk6 van
I have owned the van now 14months and its not been on the road for 11 of them so its now about to change. It started off as a 1.8d and is getting converted to td power with a bit of tuning, heres the beginning :
When i got it on the road
Heres the doner td engine
I only get work done on it at the weekends so heres what happend
And how low it is on coilovers
Lowered with the axel sat on top of the leaf springs :
Van will be fitted with 17s so should be a little bit higher.
Spec of the van will be
Escort mk6 van converted to mk5 using rs2000 bonnet, bumper, lights
Mk6 recaros front seats and matching door cards
Flocked mk6 dash board and trim
White dials, small si steering wheel
Central locking, elec windows, elec mirrors
Rs option replica side skirts for van
17" focus mp3 alloys in white
Cosworth style rear bumper for van
Coilovers on front
Axel mounted on top of springs with extra leaf added each side adjustable shocks
300mm focus st170 discs and pads mondeo mk3 calipers
1.8tdi engine, fueling and boost adjusted, fmic, magnex exhaust system.
plus other stuff i have forgot about.
Its a long and slow process really, thanks for looking.
