Default Can't find 'dipped' beam on my Capri

Hi, my Capri only has two light settings on the stalk; Lowest setting does sidelights (both outer lights dim, rears on) and the only other setting seems to be full beam (both outer lights bright, both inners brightest, rears on, blue warning light on dash). Is this right? Tryed pushing and pulling the stalk every which way but I can't find a 'dipped' setting. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Assuming this isn't a wind up, the small stalk you refer to is the main lighting stalk, it does NOT select dip or main, this is done by the full length stalk on the left that also does the indicators, ie push away is main beam and pull back is dip, pulling back against the sprung stop is flash(main beam).

Cheers tabetha, tried all the stalks anyway (including the horizontal movement on the indicator). All the logos have worn off the stalks so I was hoping that I was missing something. Looks like I've got some work to do on the dip selecter then. Cheers again, at least I know where to look now!

With stalk pulled into centre position (ie not pushed forward) once up is sides, twice up is dipped and pushed forward and twice up is main.
