Fuel filter replacement for mk2 Sierra

where is the fuel filter located on the car? I'm just about to go out and do it but i want to know which end to jack up. is it at the fuel tank end or the carb end?

Depends on which engine fitted, but look under spare wheel well, if not there most likely under bonnet area.
