i been looking at these apex kits for my s2 rs turbo as they seem a good affordable price so i'll be interested to see if you get any good feed back....
They're pretty good value seeming as spax adjustables are well over a hundred quid more. I'd love a set of coilies but they're worth more than the car
My old Mk4 is gone. Silver one, with 16" Steelies (first on here and in europe with that :P)
Sold it 3 years ago, had loads of Granada`s, a Scorpio Granada and bought a Mk1 Transit.
But still love a Mk4..

Pretty easy to be honest guys,it all marry's up to the gear box the same,you just need to drill 4 new holes to secure it as its slightly smaller in length. Its like having a quick shift and alot smoother.
Hi, any chance you can inform me on what gearbox you used for this? Really good idea, was looking at a zetec but this may just save the 1.3 as it runs sweet as a nut
This is the 1.3 Popular I grew up in. My mum bought it new in 1990 and sold it in 2000 for the latest Escort on offer, the MK6.
I contacted Matlock Ford [the people who my mum sold the car to in 2000] If they had any info in their files but they didn't have any luck.
Would love to think It's still out there laid up somewhere, Still appears on the D.V.L.A so may not be scrapped.
Would be great to find it, or if I could own an Identical one. Not many can be found in this colour though..
Hi everyone this is my 1998 Escort Popular. 2 owners from new, 70k, full service history even got all its old tax discs and original bill of sale. It's never been off the road in it's hole 26 year life!
my mk4 is a G reg 1.3 bonus which i believe is fitted with the edis4/esc loom although on the module box located on the passenger side inner wing theres nothing on it to say edis4....just says motorcraft on it?...is this still edis?
also do i just unplug the coilpack on my 1.3 and plug it straight into the zetecs coilpack?
ill be running either a 1.8 or 2.0 on carbs.
ive also got a xr3i mfi gearbox out of a mk4....will this fit onto the zetec?

Hi thinking of selling my escort h reg 1.8 diesel, 3 door non- sunroof, been told this car is a rare find and not many on road being on h reg diesel and 3 door. its done 96,870 which is nothing for these Diesel engines. Had some welding in past but underneath all solid, rear arches were done by the previous owner many years ago not a great job to be honest could do with looking at I must say, apart from that the car is solid ! Fast and lovely to drive very smooth. Been well looked after, one previous lady owner and am the second owner I have had it for 8 years and time to move on with bigger family car.
