Induction kit or panel filter.
Cam- essential
Exhaust with preferable 4 branch manifold
1.9 bottom end?
Ported head & skimmed
Turn fuel level on metering unit 90 degree's.

On my old MFI xr3i,
I had an Ashley manifold, exhaust and drilled air box. I know is only simple stuff but it made the engine pull a lot better at the top end. Plus it sounded quality!

my first mod on my old mfi xr3i was the pipercross air filter.
you have to take the left front whell of and the inside of the arce out as it bolts onto the inner arce in the engine bay.
it gave mine a good bit of grunt and lots of fun with people saying have u drilled the box cause not many people know about the whole air box unit.
if i remember its about 89 quid good luck moddding it.
