Hello,

I was wondering if I can put the ECU from an ST200 on a Ghia X V6 to get a few more horses?

Any help would be appreciated.

Nope the ST200 Engine has different cams and which give it the extra power.
You would be better getting a Unichip for extra power on your V6.

No the ECU from the ST200 wouldn't work in the V6, you also need the SVT inlet manifold.

I have just bought a 2.5 Ghia x mondeo on a p plate tonight, What is the BHP figure as standard, I was told they are chain driven cam belts that dont need changing is this true?.
Sorry for the thread hi jack, I tried getting the answers on a search but this was the closest I could find.

Yes the 2.5 V6 is chain driven. Not sure on the BHP.

BHP of a normal mondeo V6 is 170BHP

standasr should be around 154 to 160 - the st24 is 170 and the 2oo is 200
doesn sound like much in it but you would be amazed
