Salamander
Many years ago, we had our own scrap yard. the garages always used to say to us; 'you can take the crap as long as we took the old oil.' Well as you can gause we took it, we ended up with lots of it. so much in fact that we built a wall with the five gallon drums full of oil. But then we did not mind, back then we had what was just like a chimny on top of a pot about 7 foot heigh. It was called a Salamander. With an old rag and lots of old oil you would not believe how that thing would burn. the heat would fill the whole yard, Also once it was hot and running it did not send out any smoke. I have tryed to get one recently but they are not so easy to get these day. Cheers, Pete
