Hello all, iv been recommended 2 different gearbox oils for my Yamaha RD250F

iv got the Fuchs in at the moment, whats the difference in them

i will make it 3 recomendations,i always use castrol to be honest though mate,they are all good quality

I would try for a poly ol ester based synthetic oil. I tend to use redline as I have found it to be as good as it gets, but that is my choice!

what you are intested in is film strength and possible how it clings to the metal too! te advantage of the synthetic ester type oils is that the cope with high temp abuse very well resisting cracking and as they are polar cling to metal very well, they are the part of castrol magnatec that clings, exept 100% the good stuff!
