Default Info on the Honda vfr400 nc30?

Ok guys, I've had to ditch the idea of buying a 2 stroke gamma 500 or any two stroke for that matter as here in Rome the fekkers are banned from being used..
I love the Honda vfr400 nc30 but i'm wondering if anyone has owned one and could give me advice.
This kind of bike was never imported to Italy so no info available over here whatsoever.
If i bought a good one from the uk could it be ridden the 1000 mile journey back to Italy or would i die of back ache on the way?
Any info advising me would be great and much appreciated.
We did get the rc30 but that's around E30.000 so no to that..
Does anyone know if the under powered 58 hp v4 engine could be replaced with the rc30's 750 version?
Thanks!

Why bother with a 400
Get a fireblade and you get a far better bike without the need to upgrade later
The associated costs will be pennies
It could even work out cheaper as you could find an official bike is cheaper to insure than an import
