Nice bikes and very capable of keeping a brisk pace on the twisties. Just go steady and ride safe

That's a nice first bike mate

I like the levers. I have short levers on my zx10 and I think standard ones are awful now when I see or use them!

Get yourself on a track day mate it will get your riding skill up to pace fast or it will take you years to get good

Good man , a track day should be part of the test that way people would be ready to ride and not just jump in at the deep end , done snetterton

ZX6Rs (G, J or A) are a great first bike IMO.. not a full on race rep but more than capable in the right hands.

The 636 engine is great too.. surprising more midrange than the equivalent aged 600 of other makes..

Just get used to stripping and cleaning the 6 pot calipers after every winter.. They are great brakes when in top condition but they go off quick once the grim sets in and with 12 of everything (seals, pistons etc) they cost a fortune in bits alone...

enjoy...
